Tribas

Three things we do for you, same day

ID cards & proof of insurance

Lost your card, need one for the tax collector or a new lienholder? Text us and it is in your phone within the hour.

Policy changes

Add or remove a car or a driver, change your address, update a lienholder, adjust coverage. We make the change and send the new documents.

Payments & renewals

Questions about a bill, a due date, a cancellation notice or your renewal offer — call before the due date and we will find the option that keeps you covered.

Carriers

Pay, report a claim or log in with your carrier

Each company has its own billing and claims departments, open longer hours than we are. These are their published numbers and links — the ones printed on your ID card and policy always take priority.

After an accident

In the first hour, in this order:

  1. Move to safety and call 911 if anyone is hurt. Florida law requires a police report when there are injuries or damage that appears to exceed $500.
  2. Exchange names, phone numbers, license plates and insurance details. Photograph both cars, the plates, the scene and any documents.
  3. Do not discuss who was at fault; just describe what happened to the officer.
  4. See a doctor within 14 days if you feel anything — PIP only pays when treatment starts inside that window.
  5. Report the claim to your carrier (numbers above) and then call us. We follow the claim with you and explain every letter you receive.

About payments and cancellations

Florida carriers can cancel a policy for non-payment after sending notice, and Florida tracks your coverage electronically — a lapse becomes a suspension of your license and plate and a reinstatement fee of up to $500. If a payment will be late, call us before the due date: moving a date or changing the payment plan is almost always possible; undoing a cancellation is not.
